1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, store information in the same way. In this policy, "cookies" means all of these technologies. They can be strictly necessary, meaning needed to provide a service you request, or optional, such as analytics or advertising. Optional cookies need your consent first.
2. Our approach
doxentriq.com (the "Website") is operated by Alttab Profit SRL (FirstIT) and is designed to be privacy-friendly:
- no advertising or marketing cookies;
- no third-party trackers, social media plugins, external fonts or embedded content;
- no optional cookies before you give consent. "Reject optional" is as easy as "Accept all".
3. What we use
Strictly necessary (always active)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
dx_consent |
Local storage | Stores your cookie choices (which optional categories you allowed) and the date you made them, so we don't ask on every page. | 12 months. After that, we ask again. | doxentriq.com (first party) |
dx_theme |
Local storage | Remembers the light or dark theme you selected with the theme button. Only set if you use the button. | Until you clear your browser storage | doxentriq.com (first party) |
These values stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
Analytics (optional, off by default)
We currently don't use any analytics tool. The consent banner includes this category so you're in control if we add privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics later. Before activating any tool, we will list it in the table above, with its name, provider, purpose and duration. It will load only if you have allowed the "Analytics" category.
Server logs
Like any website, our web server automatically records technical access logs, such as IP address, requested page and browser type, to deliver the Website and keep it secure. These logs are not cookies and don't store anything on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
4. Legal basis
Strictly necessary storage is exempt from consent under Art. 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in electronic communications, which implements the EU ePrivacy Directive. All other cookies require your prior consent. Where cookies involve personal data, that processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
5. Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
The "Cookie settings" link is also in the footer of every page. You can also delete stored data, or block cookies and local storage, in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage means the Website can't remember your choices, so the banner will appear again.
6. Third-party websites
When you follow links to other websites, such as GitHub or firstit.ro, those websites may set their own cookies under their own policies. We don't control them. For GitHub, see the GitHub cookies documentation.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy before we introduce any new cookie or storage item. If we add optional categories or the changes are material, we will ask for your consent again.
