1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of doxentriq.com (the "Website"). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Website.

The Doxentriq software is not licensed under these Terms. It is licensed under its open-source license (see section 4). Nothing in these Terms limits the rights that license gives you.

3. The Website

The Website gives information about the Doxentriq open-source project and related services from FirstIT. It is free to use and requires no account. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website at any time, without notice. Information on the Website is general and may be incomplete or out of date. The project's documentation and source code on GitHub are the authoritative reference.

4. Open-source software license

The Doxentriq software is published at github.com/andreitex/-doxentriq under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (the "License"). The License alone governs your rights to use, copy, modify and distribute the software, including commercially. Where the License and these Terms conflict regarding the software, the License prevails.

As the License states, the software is provided "AS IS", without warranties or conditions of any kind. The License's limitation of liability applies to it (Sections 7 and 8 of the License).

5. Early-access status and your responsibilities

Doxentriq is in early access. The project's full production acceptance plan has not yet passed. The repository documents the current verification status and known limitations. If you install or use the software:

  • you are responsible for assessing whether it suits your purpose, and for its secure installation, configuration, operation, backups and updates;
  • you understand that AI-generated code and content can contain errors, security weaknesses or unexpected behavior. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving releases before they are published;
  • you are responsible for complying with the terms of the AI providers and other third-party services you connect, and with laws that apply to your use. These include data protection, consumer protection and AI regulation;
  • you are the controller of the personal data processed in your installation, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Website content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, graphics, design and layout of the Website are © Alttab Profit SRL and protected by copyright. You may view, link to and share pages of the Website and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution. Code snippets shown on the Website (such as installation commands) may be used under the Apache License 2.0. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

7. Trademarks

"Doxentriq", the Doxentriq logo and "FirstIT" are trademarks of Alttab Profit SRL. The Apache License 2.0 does not grant permission to use these trademarks (Section 6 of the License), except as reasonably needed to describe the origin of the software. You may refer to Doxentriq by name to accurately describe the project, or your compatibility with it. If you distribute a modified version, please use a different name and logo, so users aren't misled about its origin or our endorsement.

OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, Microsoft, Google, Stripe, GitHub, Samba, Debian, Rocky Linux and other names mentioned on the Website are trademarks of their respective owners. Mentioning them describes compatibility or technology used. It does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation.

8. Acceptable use

When using the Website, you must not:

  • break any applicable law, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • try to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers or related systems, or disrupt them, for example through denial-of-service attacks;
  • introduce malware, or use automated means that place an unreasonable load on the Website;
  • misrepresent your affiliation with us, or use the Website to impersonate us.

9. Contributions

Contributions to Doxentriq (issues, pull requests, documentation) are made through GitHub and are subject to GitHub's terms and to the project's contribution guidelines. Unless you explicitly state otherwise, any contribution you intentionally submit for inclusion is licensed under the Apache License 2.0, as set out in Section 5 of the License. You confirm that you have the right to submit it.

10. Security vulnerability reports

If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in Doxentriq or the Website, please report it privately to office@firstit.ro, not through public issues. Please give us reasonable time to investigate and release a fix before you disclose it publicly. Don't access, change or delete data that doesn't belong to you, and don't degrade the service for other users.

The Website links to third-party websites such as GitHub and firstit.ro. We don't control third-party websites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

12. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Website or from relying on its content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. This includes liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and liability for death or personal injury. It also includes rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

14. Paid services

Installation, support, managed hosting, custom development and other professional services from FirstIT are governed by separate written agreements. These Terms don't create any obligation to provide such services.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will publish the updated version on this page with a new "last updated" date. If you continue to use the Website after an update, you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. We will try to resolve any dispute amicably first. If that fails, the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.

Consumers in Romania can also use the alternative dispute resolution procedures of the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC). See anpc.ro/ce-este-sal.
